We have compiled this course with reference to the intelligent manufacturing production line system of Guangxi Research Institute of Mechanical Industry Co., Ltd. for the purpose of helping learners of and those who are interested in the industrial robot related majors master the robot technology and skill quickly and comprehensively, cultivating more innovative talents engaged in the application and development of the industrial robot technology, and popularizing the basic knowledge of integrated development and application of the industrial robot. This course has been approved as one of the textbooks in the first batch for vocational education plan of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and can serve as an introductory textbook for the integrated development and application of industrial robots. In this course, program scenarios lead to program tasks, for which we first introduce the theoretical knowledge needed to be mastered, and then arrange corresponding practical training cases. With the reasonable and comprehensive content, this course is systematic and operable, highlights the ideological and quality education, and integrates organically value shaping, knowledge transference, and ability cultivation. This course focuses on the explanation of integrated application cases of robot, such as loading and unloading, handling, and welding with reference to the intelligent manufacturing production line system, highlighting the operability of integrated applications of industrial robots. In this course, we provide five programs, from which readers can understand the integrated workstations of industrial robot automated production lines from a whole picture, and introduce the design and application of typical machine tool loading and unloading workstations, handling workstations, and arc welding workstation systems of industrial robot from the following aspects: process requirement analysis and hardware selection, compilation of design schemes for systems, design and modeling of detailed drawings, workstation system simulation, and program writing and commissioning, as well as organization and compilation of technical disclosure materials. Finally, we summarize the architecture and technical characteristics of the entire digital production line.
